About Brice
Brice Watson first discovered yoga at the age of 18 while studying abroad in London. What began as a way to ease the physical strain of years of long-distance running quickly transformed into a devoted daily practice. Upon returning to the U.S., Brice began studying traditional Ashtanga Yoga with Atlanta-based teacher Gary Jones, who guided her through the full Primary Series and encouraged her to go deeper into the roots of yogic tradition.
Her journey led her to study under David Garrigues in Philadelphia—one of only 47 teachers certified by the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Under David's mentorship, Brice deepened her understanding of yoga philosophy, Sanskrit, pranayama, and chanting.
In 2015, Brice became a dedicated student of Sharath Jois—the lineage holder of Ashtanga Yoga and grandson of Pattabhi Jois—at KPJAYI in Mysore, India. She continues to travel to Mysore regularly to study under Sharath, and while there, she also trains in Sanskrit, chanting, and yogic philosophy under Lakshmisha. Brice holds the distinction of being the only female KPJAYI-authorized teacher in the state of Georgia.
From 2018, Brice shifted her focus to teaching workshops and intensives across Georgia, which quickly became highly sought-after and waitlist-only events for serious yoga students.
During the global lockdown in 2020, Brice pivoted to another lifelong passion—esoteric wisdom, ancient mysteries, and the unexplained—and launched her YouTube channel, Esoteric Atlanta. As her audience grew, she began integrating her extensive background in traditional yoga with her passion for truth-seeking and spiritual exploration. Brice has since led multiple global shadow work challenges, helping people around the world deepen their inner work.
In addition to her own channel, Brice is a contributor to Gnostic TV and frequently appears as a guest on podcasts and YouTube shows worldwide. She continues to teach in-person at Sacred Garden Yoga in Georgia and occasionally at Ashtanga Yoga Atlanta.
Brice also teaches online at Fusion Body Studio, where people from around the world can join an amazing community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about fitness, yoga, spirituality, and healing.
She is the founder of The Mysore Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to serving underprivileged children in the slums of India. Her love for India extends beyond yoga—she has rescued six Indian street dogs, all now thriving in loving homes in the U.S.
Currently, Brice splits her time between Atlanta, Georgia, and Florida, where she lives with her partner and their beloved Indian street dog, Ravi. She is a proud aunt to two nephews and two nieces—who, while not yet fully aware of the depth of her work, think it’s pretty cool that their aunt is on YouTube.
Brice is deeply grateful for every opportunity to share the sacred wisdom of yoga, spirituality, mysticism, and the mysteries of this beautiful, strange world we all inhabit.
